Okay, so here are the after and tell me you don't love it as much as I do.

I have been so busy with home schooling that I have failed to keep updated with my posts. Sorry Cherri. My dear buddy Regina has been helping me this week give a wow factor to my foyer so I am going to post the before and after. Thanks Regina. "I LOVE MY "NEW" FOYER!" I can't wait to finish the rest of the house. The kitchen is next.

Hello, and happy Monday morning. Happy birthday dad. It was wonderful seeing you all yesterday. I am so excited that this Friday is two things; number one, it's the first day of spring and number two it's mine and my twin sister Cherri's birthday. I just love family. I live 5 hours from my family in N.C. and since we have 3 birthdays to celebrate this week we decided to meet half way for an afternoon get together. What a special time we all had. I guess the only thing that would have made it better is if we could have spent the night somewhere and kept the fun going a little longer. I'll add pics later. Have a great day!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

It is Valentine's Day and I am completely pooped. We have been going nonstop since our feet hit the floor this A.M. We started out with basketball games and errands to get things ready for our traditional "love" day celebration. I made something for each of the kids for their room. It was fun to make but VERY difficult to hang. You'll understand when you see the photos below. I owe my friend Regina big time for all her help. Thank you Regina!! The reactions of the kids was definitely worth it all. We stayed with our usual broiled fish, wild rice, and green beans with almonds for dinner. Then we finished it off with a delicious chocolate fondue. Yummy! The funniest part of our special evening was when we all decided to decorate marshmallows with the other fondue ingredients. We then voted on the one everyone liked the best. Leave it to the Kempf's to make a game/competition out of a white puffy sweet. It was a very special day and I hope everyone else made some fun memories also. Enjoy the photos.

Love is in the Air

I can hardly believe that I have a blog. I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and leave it to my twin and best friend Cherri to walk me through this process. Who knew it would be this easy? Well I sure didn't. As it turns out the timing of this blog is quite perfect as my favorite holiday along with Thanksgiving is Valentines Day. Everything about it thrills me. The love I have for God, my man, my kids, friends, and family gets me going like no other. I go all out letting those I love know it. Whether I am cooking our tradional "favorite" meal, making a crafty treat, or preparing chocolate fondue, I make sure that LOVE IS IN THE AIR!!!!
